Stacey Vaughan, the creator and owner of Poochie Prints, was going for a fresh, clean look when creating her site, and found that our “Clean Slate” style was just what she needed to achieve this bright and airy feeling. The site mimics the fun and simplicity of the vibrant graphics in her wall prints and stationary sets perfectly.
Stacey used the HTML widget to add her flash video which serves as a tantalizing sneak peak at her products. She also created buttons for the navigation menu on her site which makes for a truly customized look. You can do the same for your site by following the instructions provided here.
As we suggest in step two of our tutorial: Preparing to Create a Website, Stacey spent a lot of time researching other sites to get an idea of that which she liked and wished to incorporate into her site, as well as learning what she didn’t like.
