Site of the Week: JFotography

Beautiful photography makes for compelling websites, so it’s no surprise that many of our favorite Yola built sites belong to photographers. What did surprise me about JFotography is that photographer and site designer, Jean Fan, is a self taught young woman who has turned her hobby into an impressive portfolio.

About her site, in her own words:

The main point of JFotography I suppose is to offer resources and inspiration: to show that you don’t need expensive equipment or years of schooling to take good photos; all you need is passion and more importantly patience and dedication. By no means am I a professional photographer or will I compare myself to one. I am a college student studying biomedical engineering and have no plans on being a professional photographer. But I suppose the point is that you don’t need to be a professional or spend your days doing networking to take good photos, publish your work, and once in awhile get commissioned by big names like Random House.

Moreover, she serves as a role model and inspiration to others interested in learning the art of photography by sharing informative tutorials on topics ranging from lighting and self portraits, to photo editing and special effects.

JFotography is full of stunning eye candy. She utilizes our No Frills style in order to personalize her site completely and showcase her work without distraction. She also likes the instant gratification she gets from editing and publishing her changes in an instant.
