Site of the Week: BruTea

The weather is turning warmer, so the refreshing offerings at Bru Tea are making our mouths here at Yola water! I credit the crisp, cool look and feel of the site teamed with their tantalizing product descriptions. The Herbal/Fruit selections look and sound juicy enough to eat and just scream summer. I can’t decide between Mango n’ Friends or Miami Ice. Happily, with the ability to purchase a sample size, I don’t have to, I can try them both and then decide!

We love the wide assortment of specialty teas offered and the thoughtful way they are displayed on site owners, Kathryn M. Bradley and Christina Owens, site. Each variety of tea has its own page with a unique banner designed specifically for the varietal, yet they keep the product photos consistent which gives the site a cohesive feel.

Kathryn and Christina had struggled with numerous individuals and web design companies for 2 years while trying to build a website it have it launch. They was frustrated by poor quality work, high prices, missed time lines and an inability to have their vision fully executed by people unable to follow their direction.

When a friend told them they should build the site themselves on Yola, they was skeptical. Apprehension soon turned to relief as they discovered how easy it was to get the look they desired with our style templates and widgets. They made excellent use of our Creating an Online Store tutorial and utilized Picnik, which is integrated with the Sitebuilder, for their photo editing needs.

This was great for me because I could design the website I always envisioned. I am in the last stages of development of our site and what we have up thus far is awesome. I want to personally thank you for great customer service and for providing a service to help small businesses at little or no cost to users. Yola helps business owners in a time where funding for small businesses is few and far between. Anytime I run into a fellow entrepreneur trying to set up a website I immediately suggest your site. Everyone that has seen our site so far can’t believe we did this ourselves and honestly I cant believe we did it ourselves either. —Kathryn M. Bradley
