Answer a few questions, and we’ll build you a website. Like magic!

One of the questions we hear a lot from our customers is, “What do I write for these pages?” It’s okay. We all get writer’s block from time to time. To help get you past it, we’ve created a “Content Wizard” that will guide you through the process of creating content for your free website.

The Content Wizard is like other wizards you may have used for other applications. It takes you through each page, step-by-step, and presents you with questions about your business or organization. Enter your answers, and the Content Wizard will automatically use your answers as the content for your pages. If you’re still at a loss for words, we’ve included examples in the Content Wizard to help you get started.

This new feature won’t affect anyone with an existing site. But should you choose to create a new website, you’ll notice the Content Wizard asking questions specific to your type of business or organization. Of course, you can pick and choose which questions to answer, or skip them completely. You can then style and arrange your site before publishing it to the world.

We’d love to hear your feedback about the Content Wizard. If you’ve used it and have ideas about questions we should add or how to improve it, please let us know. Our best ideas come from you.

  2. I am in awe yet frightened by the mystical and awesome power of the Content Wizard. So much that I’ve taken precautions to guard myself and friends against his powerful spell casting abilities.

He once felt threatened by the prowess of our new color copier and quickly vanquished it to another dimension. It took us a week to get it off the building next door.

Also, we are seeing error messages related to a ‘ring’ and are unsure what this means. While we did not see these before implementation of the Content Wizard, it is safe to say they are related as he often times overcome with emotion when co-workers wear jewelry of this nature. Might be something for your Product Team to investigate.

I do enjoy the benefits of having a sorcerer in charge of my pixels (changes are literally on the fly… almost as if I image them they happen?). But I often wonder if his drinking problem could lead to a meltdown of both my servers and anyone within a 50ft range of his staff. Only time will tell.

    Best –

    1. Robert,

Press the green button that says “Publish to the Web” and your site will be updated or you will be taken through the publishing process for a new site.

  3. Noti – I believe there is only one ring, and I don’t think the product team has access to it, but if anyone can find it the Yola engineers can!

And John – thanks for checking it out! We hope the wizard will make creating your website a little easier, enjoy!
