Featured Websites: Celebrating Mom’s

In honor of Mother’s Day we wanted to give a nod to some of our favorite Mom built websites. Whether you make fabulous arts and crafts to sell to other awesome mom’s or just need a space to share your adventures in mommy-hood and connect with others, a Yola website gives Mom’s a direct line to the outside world.

Felicia Wallace began making handmade hair bows for her daughter, and then her friends but her business quickly grew when her products moved into custom boutiques. She now has large retailers placing orders for these darling hair bows by the hundreds. It may have started out as a hobby, but thanks to her professional website, it’s a thriving business now.

Yola allowed us to build a professional looking business website easily and quickly, and has already had a positive impact on our company’s business. We were contacted by a large distributor in Japan before we had the site, so one of our goals was to have a professional web presence. It must have worked because they made a very large purchase, and have asked to be our exclusive distributor in the Japanese market.—Ken Wallace

(over)thinking mom

According to site owner Meredith, “(Over)Thinking Mom is a personal look at the joys of parenting.” She’s a self-proclaimed “podcasting, blogging, overthinking, military marrying, sorta homemaking, grammatical phrase abusing mom.” Her podcast and blog is a platform to connect with other mom’s, share experiences and explore issues that face all parents.

Poochie Prints

Stacey Vaughan, the creator and owner of Poochie Prints is a busy mom’s dream. Her custom party invitations, birth announcements and stationary sets are so clean, fun and polished, they make the most hectic mom’s look like they have every event under control. What mom couldn’t use a little help with that?
