How to make changes to your site after you have published it

It is easy to make changes to your published site at any time. So you don't need to wait until your site is "finished" before you publish it. There is also no need to put an "under construction" sign on your site, and this is an outdated practice. These days it is assumed that all websites are a "work in progress."

If you want to know if your latest changes have been applied to your live site, check the traffic light indicator to the left of the green "Publish to the web" button.  If the light is orange, you have some changes that are not yet live. Just click the green "Publish to the web" button and you're done!

Any time you want to make changes to your published site:

  1. Log in to your account and open your site.
  2. Edit your site as normal.
  3. When you are done, click the green "Publish to the web" button and all your latest changes will be immediately added to your live site.

Updating your site frequently helps your search engine rankings, so we have tried to make this as easy for you as possible.

Please note:

  1. Saving your work will only save the draft of your site in your account. In order to apply the change to your live site you must click the "Publish to the web" button.
  2. If you have done this and you are still not seeing the latest changes on your published site, try clicking your browser's "refresh" button, or clearing your cache as the old version of your site could be cached by your browser.
