By adding an About Us page to your business website, you are giving your site an identity.<\/p>\n<p>Here are some tips to help you create a strong, authentic About Us page:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Tell a story<\/strong> &#8211; Give the details behind how, where or why your business was founded.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Use facts to support your statements<\/strong> &#8211; Don\u2019t simply say \u201cour support team is fantastic\u201d or \u201cwe have a unique product\u201d, instead show that those statements are true by using data or facts to back-up your statements.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Be sincere<\/strong> &#8211; Don\u2019t try to be something you\u2019re not. If you have a small (or even a one-man) team, don\u2019t pretend to be a large organization. Contact details should be prominent and easy to find.
