Hello everyone<\/span>

I am one of the Product Managers here at Yola, and I wanted to spend a few minutes telling you what we’ve been up to over the past few months, as well as give you a sneak peak at some of our plans for Yola features in 2010.<\/p>\n

Over the past few months, we have added features to help streamline some of the areas around the main site builder.\u00a0 For example, we made some improvements to our registration process to help our users get into the site builder as quickly as possible when they sign up.\u00a0 And you may have noticed that it is now possible to post a message to Twitter when you update your site — we’ll soon add support for Facebook and Email as well.<\/p>\n

We’re also in the process of improving and expanding some of our premium features.\u00a0 We recently launched a bunch of new Premium Styles, and soon you will be able to buy more types of domain names — as well as pay using some additional currencies we didn’t support before.\u00a0 You will also soon see new payment screens on Yola, which will greatly simplify the payment process and get you back to building your sites in no time.<\/p>\n

Now, let me tell you about some of our plans for 2010.\u00a0 I can’t divulge too much, but we have some exciting changes planned for the site builder during the first half of next year.\u00a0 These changes will make our already easy-to-use site builder even better.\u00a0 Look for additional features, faster load times, and easier ways to get content and widgets on your site.<\/p>\n

We are also excited about plans to build out the functionality of “My Sites” to be a more complete, one-stop area for all things related to Yola and your websites.\u00a0 Stay tuned for more information on that.<\/p>\n

Let me close by saying that in my fairly short time here at Yola, I have been absolutely amazed at the passion of our users.\u00a0 I love reading your ideas (and even your complaints!), so please keep them coming — they are not falling on deaf ears.\u00a0 I am excited about what we are going to do together in 2010!<\/p>\n
