In this post we take you through what you can do with the new iPhone app from our partners Ecwid.<\/p>\n<p><strong>1.\u00a0 View and manage orders<\/strong><br \/>\nManaging your online store when you\u2019re away from your computer has been made much easier with the Ecwid app. The app\u2019s dashboard gives you an overview of all your orders to date and also lets you look at the specifics of each order, for example:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>When the order was placed<\/li>\n<li>What products were ordered<\/li>\n<li>The order total<\/li>\n<li>Any product options chosen<\/li>\n<li>The current payment and fulfillment status<\/li>\n<li>Your customers\u2019 information, including their billing and shipping addresses<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The new app is particularly handy for viewing your most recent sales when you\u2019re not online. It also makes searching for a specific order easy by allowing you to search by order date payment status, or fulfillment.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-6497\" alt=\"Ecwid App \" src=\"https:\/\/blogcontent.yola.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/11\/Ecwid-App-1.png\" width=\"230\" height=\"407\" \/><br \/>\n<strong>2.\u00a0 Update and change orders<\/strong><br \/>\nYou can now update the status of existing orders when you\u2019re on the move. For example, you can change an order\u2019s Payment Status from \u201cQueued\u201d to \u201cAccepted,\u201d or its Fulfillment Status from \u201cProcessing\u201d to \u201cShipped\u201d. This means that even though you may be out of the office, you can still keep on top of your store admin. Tracking numbers can also be assigned to an order from the app which will enable your customers to track their shipment when out for delivery.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-6498\" alt=\"Ecwid app - 2\" src=\"https:\/\/www.yola.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/11\/Ecwid-app-2.png\" width=\"231\" height=\"410\" \/><br \/>\n<strong>3.\u00a0 Communicate with customers<\/strong><br \/>\nKeeping customers up to date with their order statuses can also be managed through the new iPhone app. With access to your customers\u2019 email addresses and phone numbers from the \u201cOrder Details\u201d page, you can easily communicate with them about delivery timescales or respond to any queries they might have.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-6499\" alt=\"Ecwid app \" src=\"https:\/\/www.yola.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/11\/Ecwid-app-3.png\" width=\"230\" height=\"407\" \/><br \/>\nTo ease concerns about having your customers personal information within the app, use a passcode lock to password protect the app for extra security. Proactively keeping customers informed about their order status will improve customer satisfaction and make repeat purchases more likely.<\/p>\n<p>Currently the Ecwid app is only available on iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad (in compatibility mode).
