{"id":595,"date":"2009-09-10T08:09:38","date_gmt":"2009-09-10T15:09:38","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blog.yola.com\/?p=595"},"modified":"2013-02-21T01:37:22","modified_gmt":"2013-02-21T08:37:22","slug":"yola-needs-your-help-with-kiva-loans","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.yola.com\/blog\/yola-needs-your-help-with-kiva-loans\/","title":{"rendered":"Yola Needs Your Help with Kiva Loans"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>After a fantastic event at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.socialcapitalmarkets.net\/\">SOCAP09<\/a>, we&#8217;re pleased to share that <a href=\"http:\/\/www.kiva.org\/team\/yola\">Yola&#8217;s Kiva Lending Team<\/a> contributed $7,500 to support entrepreneurs around the world.\u00a0 Starting today, Yola will be matching that amount and we need your help to identify great Kiva entrepreneurs who need funding.\u00a0 Here&#8217;s the plan:<\/p>\n<p>Yola will be accepting Kiva loan recommendations via Twitter so start following <a href=\"http:\/\/twitter.com\/yola\">@yola<\/a> today.\u00a0 To nominate an entrepreneur, post a message like this one from your Twitter account:<\/p>\n<p><em>@yola fund this Kiva entrepreneur: Beatrice is a 25-year old dress maker in the Ashanti region of Ghana <a href=\"http:\/\/bit.ly\/8Safr\">bit.ly\/8Safr<\/a><\/em><\/p>\n<p>Twitter only allows 140 characters but that should still leave enough room to share something interesting about each of the entrepreneurs.
