Website owner Joyce Davis was diagnosed with breast cancer in January 2009. “After undergoing a mastectomy, followed by Chemotherapy and Radiotherapy for all those months, I found it extremely difficult to obtain the bras and accessories that I needed. Comfort, the correct size, and the right look, were all important as these problems are all part of the feel good factor.”<\/p>\n

With the support of her family and friends, Joyce and her husband Paul opened You Wear It Well<\/a>, a post mastectomy wear and lingerie boutique, to help fill the need that Joyce discovered during her treatment.<\/p>\n

Joyce and Paul have gone out of their way to create a warm and inviting atmosphere in their boutique, complete with a cozy sitting area and coffee or tea while their visitors shop. We wanted to help them create that same feeling on their website so we created a custom banner to help brand their business, updated their style and tightened up their color palette to create a more cohesive look and feel.<\/p>\n

Custom panel widgets<\/a> were used to organize the content on the homepage and we added texture and dimension by using a gray scale version of the custom floral background to the custom panels. This makes it easy for their website visitors to see the store location and hours at a glance, engage with their social media widgets and see the brands the boutique has in stock.<\/p>\n

Joyce has seen an increase in visitors from outside of their local community since relaunching their website which has helped to increase their sales. Their visitors have also reported that their new website is “lovely, nicely laid out and makes it easy to find products.”<\/p>\n
