Interaction Designer

Yola is a well-funded startup in a rapidly growing space. Our easy-to-use site builder allows anyone with basic web experience to build and publish a personal or business website and blog.

We're looking for a talented interaction designer, preferably with visual design experience. In this role, you'll work closely with our UX and Engineering teams to help us define the next generation of our award winning product.

Skills

  Must haves

• Demonstrated portfolio of interaction design deliverables, including wireframes, flows, site maps, specs, etc.
• Understanding of usability and user centered design principles
• Strong understanding of web concepts (HTML, CSS, XML, etc.)
• Experience working with engineering teams, particularly in an agile environment
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Understanding of, and desire to work in, a startup environment
• Mac platform experience
• Omnigraffle, Photoshop, Fireworks

  Nice to haves

• Visual design skills and portfolio (particularly web applications)
• Ability to code clean HTML and CSS

Reporting

The Interaction Designer will report to the Director of User Experience.
