Adding a LinkedIn Button
There are two ways you can add a LinkedIn badge to your site. Either by visiting LinkedIn.com and copying the HTML embed code provided, or using the Widgetbox Gallery widget on Yola.
Visiting LinkedIn and copying the embed code:
LinkedIn provides View My Profile buttons containing LinkedIn graphics that you can post in email signatures or on your blog, message board or website.
- Click "Edit My Profile" found in the left navigation area of the home page.
- Click "Edit Public Profile Settings" in the upper right-hand corner of the Profile page.
- Click on the "Customized Buttons" link found in the Public Profile box.
- Choose a logo button and copy the HTML code provided next to it. This code will include a link to your public profile.
- Paste the code to your site using the HTML widget (drag and drop an HTML widget from the sidebar on the right onto your page, paste the code into the HTML editor that opens using right-click > paste or Ctrl-V).
Using the Widgetbox Gallery:
- Drag and drop a Widgetbox Gallery widget onto your page.
- A dialog box will open, search for "linkedin".
- Choose the widget you would like to use on your site and customize the settings.
- Click on the green "Get Widget" button and it will be saved and added to your page.
- Save and preview your page to view the widget.
