Adding the Skype widget

To add a Skype button to your homepage:

1. Click on the "Widgets" folder in the content sidebar on the right. 
2. The third icon from the bottom is the Skype icon and it is labelled "Skype Me."  Drag and drop this onto your page.
   
    
   
3. To edit this widget, click the "Edit" button in the left hand corner of the green widget title bar. 
4. In the Properties sidebar, enter your Skype ID.  You can also set the alignment and margins of the widget. 

People will then be able to click on your Skype widget in order to contact you.

If the Skype button remaines greyed out, you may need to change settings on your Skype account. Here's how to do that:

1. Open Skype, select Tools -> Options on Windows, or select Preferences on Mac.
2. Select Privacy Settings.
3. Click the "Show Advanced Options" button.
4. Finally tick on the "Allow my status to be shown on the web" check button.
5. Click "Save" in the Options dialog to exit.
