Adding an RSS feed

This is how to add an RSS widget to your site:

  1. Open the widgets folder on the sidebar to your right.
  2. Drag and drop the "RSS Reader" widget onto your page.

  3. Click on "Edit" on the green widget tool bar. 
  4. In the "Properties" sidebar click on "Edit Your Link".

  5. A link editor will open up. You need to replace the default URL with a URL of a feed that you want. For example, pasting the following URL will create a Yahoo! News RSS feed: http://rss.news.yahoo.com/rss/topstories.
  6. When you are done click "OK" in the link editor and then click "apply" in the properties side bar.
  7. An RSS feed with automatically updated links on the subject of your choice will be added to your site.

 

Alternatively, you can easily add an RSS feed to your site with a widget from our Widgetbox Gallery, this is how:

  1. Drag and drop a Widgetbox Gallery widget onto your page. 
  2. A dialog box will open, search for "RSS" to see all the widgets available. 
  3. Choose the RSS feed you would like to use on your site. 
  4. Edit your settings to customzse your widget. 
  5. Click on the green "Get Widget" button and it will be saved and added to your page. 
  6. Save and preview your page to view the widget.
