Adding an RSS feed
This is how to add an RSS widget to your site:
- Open the widgets folder on the sidebar to your right.
- Drag and drop the "RSS Reader" widget onto your page.
- Click on "Edit" on the green widget tool bar.
- In the "Properties" sidebar click on "Edit Your Link".
- A link editor will open up. You need to replace the default URL with a URL of a feed that you want. For example, pasting the following URL will create a Yahoo! News RSS feed: http://rss.news.yahoo.com/rss/topstories.
- When you are done click "OK" in the link editor and then click "apply" in the properties side bar.
- An RSS feed with automatically updated links on the subject of your choice will be added to your site.
Alternatively, you can easily add an RSS feed to your site with a widget from our Widgetbox Gallery, this is how:
- Drag and drop a Widgetbox Gallery widget onto your page.
- A dialog box will open, search for "RSS" to see all the widgets available.
- Choose the RSS feed you would like to use on your site.
- Edit your settings to customzse your widget.
- Click on the green "Get Widget" button and it will be saved and added to your page.
- Save and preview your page to view the widget.
