Editing or removing the page Password Protection

 

To edit the Login ID and Password you assigned to your website:

  1. Log in to your Yola account and open your site.
  2. Click on the "Site Manager" tab.
  3. Click on "Site Password Protection".
  4. A dialog box will open up and you will be able to see what Log in ID and password you assigned to your site. You can also change it if you wish.

If you make any changes to the Login ID and password, remember to update your site to make this change effective on the live version of your site.

These are the steps to take password protection off a specific page:

  1. Go to the Site Manager tab, click on "Site Password Protection" underneath the list of your pages.
  2. A dialog box will open, click on the box of the page you want to remove password protection so that it now shows as "Public".
  3. Click on "OK".
  4. Click on Preview to view the change, if you wish, then update your site.
