Accounting Manager/Controller

Position:

Our team of experienced start-up entrepreneurs is seeking an Accounting Manager/Controller to join our team and help oversee the day-to day accounting functions.

Location:

San Francisco, CA

Reporting:

The Accounting Manager/Controller will report directly to the COO.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage external accountants performance of regular accounting functions including AP, AR, Payroll, General Ledger and month-end close
• HR: Hires, terminations, set-up and benefits administration
• Stock administration and ownership of cap table
• Cash management
• Planning and budgeting
• Assist with preparation and coordinate audit and tax schedules

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Accounting
• 5+ years relevant experience
• Experience working with high tech start-ups is preferred, as is Quickbooks proficiency.
• “Hands-on” with strong attention to detail
• Excellent communication

Compensation:
