Featured Website of the Week: Jubeadilation

It’s time to get crafty with this week’s featured website, Jubeadilation. Sometimes getting started on a new project or hobby is the hardest part, but site owner Frances Harper makes it easy with her jewelry workshops and kits. She even offers special workshops for non-profit organizations and charity fundraisers.

I have been very impressed by the ease of use of Yola, and have frequently suggested it to friends and acquaintances. It is so easy to use, and the support response is always quick. I’m also impressed that the published site loads quickly, so visitors to my site will not be turned off by a slow site. The only thing I have knowingly done to help this, is restrict my picture sizes.

I have a newsletter mailing list, and email out monthly. I include only summary details of upcoming workshops, and direct people to the website for more detail. This seems to work well. I also attract new customers via the website, which is linked to by many free websites that advertise events.

I have a site that is frequently modified, and I like to be punctual with amendments to my workshop schedule, so I love the way I can update my own site and publish it, being fully confident it will work as expected. I have integrated forms into my site that allow people to contact me without me revealing an email address. I have done this to try to restrict my junk mail, and so far that strategy has been successful.—Frances Harper
