Why can't I Google my site?

It takes time for new sites to be picked up and indexed by the search engines. Before Internet users will be able to find your site using the search box, your site will first need to be indexed by the search engines.

Indexing is the process of the search engine algorithm going through each of your website pages, making a copy of the page, and adding it to its index. This can take anywhere from a few weeks to a few months and unfortunately, is out of our control. If you take a moment to imagine the millions of webpages on the Internet you can see why this can take some time.

Until your site is indexed, people will be able to find your site by putting your address, such as mysite.com, into the browser window at the very top of the page.
